The Planning Process

The Planning process is expected to be completed over the course of one year, beginning in September 2025. The following list outlines the basic phases of the project. Each of the phases is further detailed out below along with updates as they are completed.

  • Task 3 - Initial Public Kickoff Presentation (held on November 4)

Community Input on Draft Plans

  • A community drop-in meeting was held on July 14 at the Education Building to review the draft plans. If you missed this meeting, you can still share feedback through this website.

Adoption Process

  • The Planning Board will need to review and recommend the draft Comprehensive Plan and the draft Downtown Master Plan to the Town Board. It's anticipated that this will take place at their regularly scheduled meeting in August (August 13th at 5:30pm).
  • The Town Board will need to hold a public hearing to review the draft Comprehensive Plan and the draft Downtown Master Plan. This is anticipated to take place at their regularly scheduled meeting in September (September 1st at 6:00pm).
